About Redwood Dog Sports Center
Redwood Dog Sports Center began as a way to fill a need in Lane County for dog agility training. Through mostly word of mouth marketing, RDSC has grown to a full-time agility training center. RDSC also offers ASCA Agility trials, fun matches, and seminars.
RDSC experienced growth and exciting changes in 2015.
Jerri joined our team in May and is a wonderful addition to the program, with her deep knowledge of the science behind training, experience with reactive dogs, and sharp eye to details of mechanics. She has an extensive list of continuing education experience, including Chicken Workshop with Bob Bailey and Parvene Farhoody; Living and Learning with Animals with Dr. Susan Friedman; workshops with Kathy Sdao and Trish King; and most recently Clicker Expo 2015. Jerri competes with her Dalmatian Meisje, who was a 2014 Dalmatian National Speciality triathlete with 3 Q’s in 3 different sports (Rally, Obedience & Road Trial).
Jordan joined our team in July and has expanded our foundation and agility class offerings, while branching into tricks classes! Jordan is a shaping extraordinaire, and while her competition dog is retired, she has 2 young border collies getting ready for their debut's in 2016.
All of RDSC classes utilize positive reinforcement methods, including praise, treat, and toy rewards. Each team requires an individualized approach and class sizes are limited to 6 teams to ensure maximum working teams. Training should be fun for both the dog and the handler.
We look forward to having you in class!
